ATTENTION TO: ALL REGISTERED DENTAL PRACTITIONERS 

Council will be extending the special considerations (i.e., increase of cap for Category 3A (Self Study) and 3B (Distance Learning), and BCLS (practical) exemption) for another Qualifying Period. 

Council has also revised the BCLS (practical) age requirement for dentists. 

During this Qualifying Period, the Professional Registration System will allow dental practitioners to accumulate up to 40 points i.e., beyond the original cap of 20 points for Category 3A and/or 3B respectively. Please note that the current CPE requirement of 70 points (with at least 14 core points) for dentists and 35 points (with at least 7 core points) for OHTs for the purpose of Practising Certificate renewal remains unchanged.
