A grace period may be given to dental professionals to comply with the requirements under extenuating circumstances. A written application must first be made to SDC immediately after receipt of the reminder notice for the shortfall or at least 2 months before the expiry of their practising certificate. SDC will evaluate the merits of each case individually.
