The Optometrists and Opticians Board (the “Board”) will be conducting an online Supervisory Framework Briefing for practitioners who are currently holding a supervisory role, to better understand the requirements of the Board’s Supervisory Framework. Selected supervisees are also invited to attend the briefing.

There will be two separate sessions – details are as follows:

 Briefing 1 – Supervisors for Provisional Optometrist

Date	5 October 2022 (Wednesday)
Time	9 am to 12 pm (Registration will start at 8.30 am)
Venue	Zoom
CPE points	3 CPE points will be awarded upon full attendance of the session

 Briefing 2 – Supervisors for Provisional Optician

Date	6 October 2022 (Thursday)
Time	9 am to 12 pm (Registration will start at 8.30 am)
Venue	Zoom
CPE points	3 CPE points will be awarded upon full attendance of the session

The briefing is compulsory for all supervisors. Attendees are eligible to claim 3 CPE points for attending the briefing.  Supervisors who have missed previous sessions are strongly advised to attend the upcoming briefing.

Registration for the briefing(s) should reach the Board by 9 September 2022 (Friday).  Confirmation and admin details will be sent via email at least one week before the briefing.

The briefing will include a case study discussion in which attendees will be provided with cases from past logbook submissions for assignment upon confirmation of attendance. For a more effective and fruitful discussion, please submit the completed assignment in the online form by 23 September 2022 (Friday).
