Announcement Icon Introduction of Computer Based Testing for SNB Licensure Examination

The Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) has introduced Computer-Based Testing (CBT) for our Licensure Examination (LE) with effect from 28 November 2024.

Employer HR will have to submit Applications for Examination via NRS1.5.  Approved candidates will go to a designated Pearson VUE Test Centre, and under invigilated conditions, to sit for the SNB LE.

Announcement Icon Renewal for Practising Certificate (PC) for Year 2025 – Last week to renew PC before late application fee applies

Nurses/ Midwives who have not submitted the online application for the renewal of their PC for Year 2025 (“application”) are reminded that this is the last week to do. Please note that 30 November 2024 is the last day to submit the online application without having to incur a late application fee.

SNB has started issuing the electronic PC (e-PC) since Year 2022. Once your application is approved, you will receive an email notifying you to login to SNB website to view and download your e-PC. This notification email will be sent in batches and hence nurses/ midwives will receive it at varying dates/time.

Announcement Icon New Practising Certificate Fee From 1 February 2025

          From 1 February 2025, the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) will revise its fees for practising certificate (PC) for nurses and midwives. The yearly PC fee will increase by $10 for Registered Nurse/Registered Nurse (Psychiatric), $5 for Enrolled Nurse/Enrolled Nurse (Psychiatric)/Midwife and $15 for Advanced Practice Nurse (see Table below).

Random review of employment records
If it is found that nurses have not been practising nursing for a continuous period of 5 years, they will not be allowed to renew their Pracitising Certificates until they have completed a Return-to-Nursing (RTN) Programme. For more information, please contact us.
