1. The SMC would like to invite all fully registered medical practitioners to nominate not more than five (5) fully registered medical practitioners who are resident in Singapore to stand for SMC election, if any.

    

2. The nomination period is from Tuesday, 28 May 2019 (9am) to Tuesday, 4 June 2019 (12 noon). If you would like to nominate a candidate to stand for election, please take note of the following:

    

   1. The names of the Nominee, Proposer and Seconder indicated on the Nomination Form should be the names registered with the SMC.
   2. Declaration by the nominee has to be dated within the nomination period.
   3. The Nomination Form must be submitted along with the nominee’s Curriculum Vitae (CV) in the same format as the template CV provided by SMC on this website.

    

3. The original completed Nomination Form(s) and the nominee’s CV should be submitted to the SMC located at 16 College Road #01-01 College of Medicine Building, Singapore 169854 (Attn: Mrs Joanna Tan, Returning Officer) by hand or registered mail during the nomination period. Nominations will not be accepted after Tuesday, 4 June 2019 (12 noon).

    

4. In preparation for the upcoming SMC Election, please update your particulars including contact details and activity status with the SMC promptly through the Professional Registration System if you have not done so.
