It was brought to the Singapore Medical Council’s (SMC) attention that some medical practitioners might have received emails publicising a medical conference – “International Conference on Public Health 2024”, scheduled to take place from 27 to 29 May 2024 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has alerted the Ministry of Health that there is no such public health conference, and the conference website ‘icpublichealth’ has been marked with a Deceptive Website Warning.

SMC would like to remind all doctors to stay vigilant and conduct due diligence check to verify the authenticity of overseas and local medical conferences before signing up for them.
