The AHPC would like to inform you of the new eligibility requirements for conditional registration of Speech-Language Therapists holding qualifications from the United States of America.
Applicants who meet the following requirements will not be required to take the Qualifying Examination to be eligible for Conditional Registration:
- Holding a speech-language therapy/pathology qualification that has been accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA); and
- Provide evidence of a valid ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP).
The AHPC would also like to reiterate that all applications for registration are subject to other prevailing registration and supervision requirements.
