You are reminded that you must be registered with the AHPC and have in force a valid practicing certificate if you intend to continue practising your profession after 14 April 2017. If you have not submitted an application for registration and wish to continue practising in your profession after 14 April 2017, please do so immediately.
Pursuant to Part IV of the Allied Health Professions Act, it is an offence to practise as a diagnostic radiographer (DR) or radiation therapist (RT) without registration and a valid practicing certificate from the AHPC after 14 April 2017.
Please click here [PDF, 291KB] for the full circular.
Kindly refer to “Information for Diagnostic Radiographers and Radiation Therapists --> Registration Application Guide/Step” for the details on supporting documents required.
For DRs/RTs who have already submitted their applications as of the date of this circular
If you have been informed that your application is incomplete, supporting documents were not yet received, or additional information was required for the review of your application, please make immediate arrangements to comply before 28 February 2017.
If the outstanding supporting documents or additional information requested are submitted before 28 February 2017, AHPC will complete your registration before 14 April 2017.
For new applications
Please ensure that all applications are complete and the required supporting documents duly submitted. As there are still outstanding applications for the existing practitioners, a longer than usual processing time may be experienced for all new applications received between now to May 2017. If additional information is required for the review of the application (e.g. if the qualification is not on the Schedule), such applications may take longer to process.
