Accredited Training
All candidates must have good standing in an ACGME-I accredited graduate medical education programme or an approved alternative.
Eligibility for the OG Examination (MCQ) is defined as follows:
a) Completion of R4 at the time of the examination
b) Passed the M.Med/MRCOG at the time of the examination
c) Have satisfactorily completed at least 48 months of RAC recognised O&G training at the time of the examination

The full-time residency training must fulfil all accredited training requirements set forth by ACGME-I and those specified under Singapore’s Country Addendum.
Residents are expected to be competent in the six (6) ACGME-I General Competencies.
- Patient care and procedural skills,
- Medical knowledge,
- Practice-based learning and improvement,
- Interpersonal and communication skills,
- Professionalism and
- Systems-based practice.
Verification of the fulfilment of these requirements will be provided by the Programme Directors.
